Throughout her professional career spanning nearly 15 years, Joscelyn N. Reed served as an award-winning master teacher and Instructional Coach in charter and public school districts in SE Washington D.C and Prince George's County, Maryland. Joscelyn has had the opportunity to grow both as an educator and as an investor in building collaborative and creative learning environments and professional communities. In 2016, she focused on family involvement practices by completing the Family Engagement Fellowship with the Flamboyan Foundation.
 
Recently, Joscelyn has worked as a Director of Partnerships in the non-profit sector in Washington, D.C. In this role, she facilitated staff development and leadership coaching, focusing on proactive and positive practices, and building culturally-affirming classroom communities. She is passionate about providing engaging, thought-provoking training and building school systems with a lens of equity, trauma-informed, and healing-centered practices, brain science, and progressive mindsets.
 
She founded Revolve Learning to continue advocating for equity work to be core knowledge alongside mainstream pedagogy and education theory. Her sessions and programs seamlessly take the Science of Learning and Development (SoLD) alongside other research and transforms it into relatable and engaging content and learning experiences that are applicable to the current social context of teaching. 
 
Joscelyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University and studied abroad to complete coursework for her Master's degree in Literacy Education and Instruction from Roehampton University in London, England.
