I'm Joscelyn! I am a mother, sister, friend, educator, coach, life-long learner, and a super fan of a chocolate-loving, curious kid named Zaire and a giant Labradoodle named Hershey. I'm crazy about creating learning experiences for educators that are grounded in the Science of Learning and Development (SoLD), real stories you can relate to, and research-based best practices to back it up.

After teaching, coaching, and consulting for over a decade and a half, I founded Revolve Learning for the teachers that almost quit like I once came very close to doing early in my career. Who am I kidding? A FEW times, actually. I couldn't figure out why my students didn't connect with my expectations and didn't have the support I needed. One concept that I was never taught in all the years of my higher education training was that there is nothing more powerful than relationships. Students who have had a difficult start to life need trusting relationships to truly be on the path to successful learning and development. You simply can't teach academic content without first making your students the content!
